These thermostat covers are recommended for areas where abuse to a thermostat is a problem. This may include vandalism, accidental damage as well as costly, annoying tampering by employees and others. These covers are useful where thermostats are located in public areas such as office buildings, schools and hospitals. The devices are easy and quick to install. They are shipped complete with anchors and screws. The holes in the frame for the thermostat covers allow air to circulate freely. This is for proper operation of protected thermostats as well as energy sensors. As a result, the interior wall on the frame prevents objects from entering the cover.
